Perhaps the greatest export to Britain from America, Brunch is the perfect ‘inbetweeny’ meal to fuel your weekend or indulge in much-needed hair of the dog. Starting Saturday 4th February, 1539 will be serving brunch every Saturday and Sunday*.
The statement restaurant and bar at Chester Racecourse, first launched brunch with the addition of free yoga classes last year with local instructor and Sweaty Betty Ambassador, Caroline Buist, on their outside, heated, covered terrace. The successful weekly offering has now been extended to appeal to a wider set of consumers.
Guests are invited to feast on French toast with mascarpone and blueberries, smashed avocado on toast or a proper English fry up. Better still, when guests dine from the brunch or lunch menu, they are invited to order as many Bloody Marys, glasses of Prosecco or Bellinis as they like – for an additional £15 per person.*
Restaurant Manager, Andre Sievers said ‘The success of the concept in cities like London, Manchester and noticing a gap in the market, we were keen to bring such an offering to the City of Chester and appeal to a wider consumer base – particularly, groups looking to entertain visiting friends/family and consumers local to Chester looking to extend their weekend with something extra special.’
The unlimited drinks are also available to guests that dine on the Restaurant’s lunch menu. Additionally, starting in February, 1539 will be serving their legendary roasts on Saturdays and Sundays. EJ
