Raymond Weil have designed their own in-house movement, produced in partnership with manufacturer Sellita to create the freelancer Calibre RW1212. This exclusive movement was designed by the R&D department of the Geneva watch company and produced by the movement manufacturer based in Le Crêt-du-Locle.

The name Calibre RW1212 is a nod to the post code of the company headquarters in Grand-Lancy, and pays tribute to the brand’s rich history in watchmaking.

The bold design of this new freelancer Calibre RW1212 showcases the balance wheel at 6 o’clock through an open aperture, revealing a mechanical composition evoking the aesthetics of the most beautiful tourbillons.

The price of the newest launch from Raymond Weil is £1,595 – £1,795, available at www.raymond-weil.com. EJ
